WoW!
This show is fucking killer and its not even the best of the 4 nightd they played here. The night with the famous UJB jam and extended Lucy in the Sky is maybe "better", but depends on what moves you. Spring tour 95 is WAY better than most fans say it is. What i find interesting about it is how if you listen enough, you can hear the next evolution in dead sound they were arriving at. What would have been the 96 even 97 sound had Jerry lived. If you can manage the headspace to listen to GD without EXOECTATIONS that narrow you in to judgemental listening based on what you think it "should" sound like, you'll be rewarded

Pretty good for 1995
Up to the Estimated, which is stellar for post 1992. Oddly, weakest tune so far has been Lazy River Road, a tune Jerry pretty much nailed up to the very end. Only saw outdoor summer shows in 1995, and they paled compared to both the spring tour and the handful of indoor summer shows [Albany/Auburn Hills]. I'm not a doctor, but it doesn't take one to know the heat of summer took its toll on Jerry's already worn out body. Add in the drugs, cigs, and crappy food on the road, and a recipe for disaster for anyone with a history of diabetes and heart disease..... More so for a guy with a history of drug use.... In any event, space out of Estimated sounds coherent and smooth..... Looking forward to hearing the rest of this one. Don't rate shows I didn't attend. But I like the sound quality on this one, as well as the song selection..... Definitely not the fireballs of energy from my earliest shows in the 70's on through most of the Brent era. But very listenable. Other than Jerry, the band is firing on all cylinders. And compared to most of 1995, and notwithstanding the lyric fart I just reached in Terrapin, Jerry is firing on at least 6 out of 8 cylinders!!! Looking forward to Chicago thanks to good luck with the mail order..... Will be sad saying a final goodbye to a 41 year chapter of my life. But I cannot think of a better way to say "Fare Thee Well" than a couple nights of great music by musicians I love and respect [even Trey- -hate Phish, but his solo work rocks], surrounded by hordes of the kindest and greatest fans in all the land........ BTW - - just finished Terrapin and heading into Drumz..... other than the vocal farts, a strong Terrapin.....

Yin & Yang
My friends and I had tickets to all 4 shows. At the last minute I had to leave town on a 2 week business trip, I was devastated. I gave my tickets to my friends with the instructions of giving them away, asking for nothing in return. It turned out that I passed on my last chance to see the Dead, but I passed along 4 miracles and met the future mother of my 3 children on that trip. Kharma.

"Another time, Another place"
Atlanta was a great time, "another time, another place", I remember thinking that the Omni was like a huge mothership and we were all aboard. Sitting high in the Phil Zone with all the family then decending into the hallways to spin the night away. Who remembers Stone Mtn if you were lucky enough to get in after the show? I give the show 5 stars just because I was there! Grateful today so I can go Furthur tommorow!!

Brings a smile to my face
From the first notes of Cold Rain and Snow, I was hooked. This was a great show. I remember calling the CR&S opener only to be laughed at by me friends. "But it's sunny and beautiful, dude!" Possibly, but there's your weird Dead logic for you. Down and dirty Rooster, and a well-played Ramble. I really the dug the "It's All too Much," much to my own surprise. Whatever, it's all in good fun. Another strong Space - always a pleasure - and then the solid Other One > Dew. The Terrapin is not the best I've ever witnessed, but let's be honest, it was always great just to bear witness to these guys at all, especially in these years. Just when you thought the gas was running out, boom! "I guess it doesn't matter anyway!!!!"
why are all the sbd's not downloadable? so irritating.

End of the road
This was my last of 100+ shows, starting in 1982. I hadn't seen them since 89 and was shocked at how small they seemed, nowhere near the energy or presence of the 80's. I knew It was probably my last show so I got my wishes and heard Terrapin and Dew one last time and I waved goodbye during Johnny B.Goode, knowing it was the end of the road for me. Thanks guys it was a blast.

Groovy show
This is one of 7 shows I saw in 95--only one where I went alone. I was on my way home to FL from Charlotte and scored a ticket from a kind person. I met a lot of kind people that day who hooked me up with anything I needed. I really enjoyed the 2nd set--there was a nice, groovy, relaxed but upbeat mood in the house.

Not Bad
This was my one and only show so this has very sentimental value to me. I've been trying to track down an audible version of this show for 11 years now. I realize it may not be the best show, but certainly has its moments. Give it a try.

best of Atlanta 95 run
The Eternity is one of the best ever and we just loved the Other One tease before Crazy Fingers. This was a good night on Spring Tour 95, and there weren't many. They played this night with a lot of cohesiveness and confidence.
IMHO this one of the more 'off' nights that the Dead had in 95. I know others disagree, that's totally cool. There are points that sound awesome (e.g. end of crazy fingers), and points that are really hard to listen to (e.g. beginning of crazy fingers where it sounds like Jerry literally has forgotten how to play the song)....In my opinion, overall it is a 2 star show

average 95
Average show. I have mixed opinions about the "Terrapin". In one sense, its lyrically one of the worst versions ever. HOWEVER, the jam between Lady with a Fan and Terrapin Station is one of the most delicate, angelic, and fluid explorations of this transition ever performed. Also, the Morning Dew has Jerry shouting the "I guess it doesn't matter" part 8 or nine times over the steadily increasing build up of the song. It was a really great moment. But then the Dew just ENDS...oh well...

Mixed bag
There is the residual sloppy play from Garcia on much of this show, but it has it's moments. The Dew is sung very well and the rare 95 Other One is a solid 9 minute jam. The band sounds energized from Space on... Sound quality is good and in your face.

not that great
this show, although not absolutely terrible, has the worst terrapin i've ever heard. Poor old Garcia totally misses two verses and then comes back with a half-hearted attempt at one he already sang, before giving up on that one too! I usually love Too Much, but this one sounds like it's been performed by a garage band getting together for the first time and someone says, "Hey, you guys want to try a Beatles song?" Granted, we're a few months from the end of the music here, but there are excellent '95 shows: Three Rivers, Charlotte, and Memphis for instance (particularly 3 rivers). Check those out and "leave this one lay."

Great show! One of the best '95-ers up with 2/21 & 3/23. The band is "on" and Garcia this time makes little exception. Solid, well played first set - even Eternity not sounding too bad! Second set is HOT..especially Estimated Prophet, and what is probably the last good Terrapin. Other One>Morning Dew are also both very impressive for the date, and Johnny B. Goode, making it's last appearance, puts a great rocking finish to a very enjoyable show. Download it!

At this show. Good un. Missed the first set due to a miscreant hungover traveling partner. Second set hit me hard. One of the great, got IT, jams of 95. Now that we are being smiled down upon I can here it again. Thanks whoever.
